Doc’s Recovery House is pleased to announce an anonymous donor has pledged a matching gift opportunity to the organization for up to $25,000.
In response to this generous gift, Doc’s Recovery House is launching a matching campaign to raise $50,000. All donations made during the campaign will be matched dollar-for-dollar in hopes of doubling donor impact.
The campaign will fund our innovative pre-treatment housing program, a program that provides sober and supportive housing to men awaiting placement in a residential treatment program. The program is the first of its kind throughout the state, and since opening in February 2019, has assisted over 70 men in their recovery.
“It’s been an honor to see the dream of Doc’s Recovery House come to life, a vision that started more than 4 years ago,” says Executive Director Tori Utley. “The meaning of our work has been evident — hope restored, lives changed and a true community created. We couldn’t do this work without donor support, and we know there is more work to be done.”
During the 8-week campaign, Doc’s Recovery House will be sharing inspiring stories of impact and recovery that have taken place since opening this year. Donors who contribute to the campaign will be offered unique gratitude offerings including celebration events at the organization’s main site in Oxbow Park, naming legacy rooms, benches and more.
The campaign officially launched on September 25th and will span until Minnesota’s Give to the Max Day on November 14th with a celebration to follow.
